France Outreaches France VI Highlights This marked our 6th ministry trip to France.
What an incredibly powerful time with God we shared with the French people!
God’s manifest presence was so strong, and the workings of the Holy
Spirit were so sweet. We are
confident His purposes were accomplished on this trip.
Glory to God! Our primary mission was to conduct a series of revival
meetings for a wonderful church in the northern suburbs of
CLN is a light in a dark place.
On the first night of meetings, most people in the church were on their faces, worshipping God and repenting. God’s presence was so tangible, and so sweet. And yet we knew He was only preparing us for what was to come. The last night was
one of the most powerful moves of God either of us have ever experienced.
The anointing continued to intensify during Kurt’s sermon, in which he
emphasized the Christian’s role as ambassador of the Good News of the Kingdom.
Church members held hands and prayed for each other as we prayed over the
congregation. Almost immediately,
the church’s prayers reached a crescendo.
The Holy Spirit was moving powerfully, and people were praying with
intensity and fervency. Soon, the
entire church was responding to the tangible presence of God.
His glory filled the auditorium. There
was a strong anointing for breakthrough. People
grabbed hold of the authority that Jesus has delegated to His disciples, and the
Holy Spirit did the rest. It was a
joyous environment, but there was also a determination reminiscent of war –
the church rising up in the strength of the Lord, determined to drive back the
forces of the enemy and re-take the land for the After perhaps half an hour of this type of prayer, we moved back into a time of worship. If anything, the anointing only intensified. The congregation almost blew the roof off the church with their joyous praise and celebration. Many were overcome by God’s presence. Kurt ended up slain in the Spirit, laying flat on his back with his bass guitar resting on his belly. Eventually, Marla was unable to continue leading the worship. But, no worries! The Holy Spirit was the One doing the ministering all along. The move of God continued well into the night, as the church members ministered to God in praise, dance, and a multitude of drums. It was a glorious time in the Lord’s presence. We know lives were changed. No one can be touched by Jesus in that fashion and not be changed. We believe God was preparing His church for a new level of fruitfulness in ministry – to reach the lost with the love and power of Jesus Christ. Amen! We also had a wonderful time of ministry with the youth of CLN. God spoke prophetic words of encouragement to these young people and ministered liberty to their souls. They too were powerfully touched by God. We give glory to God that He also anointed us to minister entirely in French. Marla’s worship even included some songs that she had written in French. And God enabled Kurt to preach entirely in French for the first time. This was a real blessing to the French people. Glory to God! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
